born in September 1996 by Cynthia and Paul Johnson. Both
of them had previously been employed by a Luggage / Bag
manufacturer for some years. Building on the skills acquired and the good will built up over several years, the customer base was quickly established. The name of Abreption became known by word of mouth and the client base has kept growing ever since. By the year 2004 they are still a success and have never had to advertise their company. A large part of their success is due to the ability of the company to produce from a base starting point or to take on CMT work. They do indeed make up for one of the best known camera bag companies in the world. The level of quality in the product and the service has improved ever since and continues to improve ongoing. Working from a 1200 sq. ft. unit in the market town of Grantham in Lincolnshire, the product itself is the selling point. Their luggage has been exported to places as far away as Australia, Japan and the U.S.A. They have also made luggage for the England Rugby Team for the1999 world tour and for the Benson and Hedges / Jordan grand prix racing team as a promotional item. It should also be noted that the expertise is available to design and develop products based on the clients idea's. The use of the client's own fabric is also one of the specialities of the company and they do indeed work with some of the bigger fabric design companies.
